The tear drop clicker is a marking tool to use when training dogs. Pair the clicker with food; click then treat so your dog associates the sound with food. Then it can be used to train new behaviours; dog sits, you click at the exact moment the dog sits then follow up with a treat. It gives more time to get the reinforcer to the dogs and they leave much faster using a clicker.
